Honda launches QC3 scooter at Rs 1.35 lakh - electric scooter price
Honda’s QC3 rolls out in five Indian cities—Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam—with a Rs 5,000 reservation fee.

Honda disclosed the price of its third electric scooter, the QC3, at Rs 1.35 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi. The model follows the earlier QC1 and Activa e: in the company’s Indian EV lineup.

The rollout starts in five cities—Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam. Buyers can reserve a unit for Rs 5,000 via the brand’s website or a nearby RedWing dealer; Honda has not announced a delivery schedule.

Power comes from a 3 kWh battery pack, twice the capacity of the QC1’s 1.5 kWh unit. A full charge requires about four hours, while reaching 80% takes roughly 2 hours 40 minutes. The company did not publish an official range, but the larger pack should surpass the Activa e:’s claimed 102 km distance.

The QC3 features a 5-inch TFT instrument panel that supports turn-by-turn navigation through Honda’s RoadSync connectivity suite. Under-seat storage expands to 32 litres, an improvement over the QC1 and a clear advantage compared with the Activa e: where the swappable battery limits boot space.

Four colour choices are available: Matt Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue. Local manufacturing has evidently helped Honda price the QC3 more aggressively than its earlier electric offerings.

At that price, the scooter competes with the TVS iQube (Rs 1.30 lakh), Bajaj Chetak (Rs 1.44 lakh), Vida VX2 Plus (Rs 1.03 lakh) and the newly launched Ather Konarc S (Rs 1.45 lakh), all quoted ex-showroom in Delhi. The competitive segment is seeing rapid adoption across Indian metros as riders look for cost-effective electric options.

The company still has three models pending launch: the XR300L, XR300 Rally and the twin-cylinder Rebel 500. These upcoming machines are aimed at different rider segments, from city commuters to sport-oriented enthusiasts, and are expected to broaden the brand’s electric portfolio.
