Lamborghini created a unique Urus SE in Army green to mark the release of the Halo: Campaign Evolved remake. The vehicle, named the Master Chief 117 Edition, features the game’s “117” designs on its sides and tailgate. Only 30 fans will have a chance to own a piece of it through a $400 scale model.
One real SUV, 30 miniature versions
The Master Chief Edition Urus SE is a one-off prototype. Lamborghini has not disclosed whether it will sell the vehicle or remove the wrap after its promotional tour. The automaker did confirm a sweepstakes for 30 exact 1:18-scale replicas of the SUV.
Fans must follow Xbox on X, repost its Urus-related post, and tag #MasterChief118Sweepstakes to enter. Participants must be at least 18 and live outside restricted regions. Winners will receive one of the detailed models, which mimic the Army green finish and “117” decals.
The partnership with Xbox also includes Forza Horizon 6. The Halo-themed wrap will be available as a free download in the game’s Message Center, letting players apply it to any Urus SE in their collection. The actual SUV, however, will not appear in the game, a notable gap in the promotion.
Luxury cars and gaming collaborations
Partnerships between high-end automakers and entertainment franchises are common, but Lamborghini’s method is distinct. The company frequently produces special editions, from limited-run hypercars to single prototypes for publicity. While the real Urus SE Master Chief Edition may never be driven, its design will persist in Forza Horizon 6. Players can download the wrap for free and apply it to their in-game version, creating a digital tribute to the collaboration. This offers a rare opportunity to engage with Lamborghini’s most unusual edition, even if only virtually.
Lamborghini has not revealed plans to auction the prototype or produce more units. The SUV remains a unique experiment in the brand’s history of eye-catching partnerships. The 30 scale models are the only physical items fans can claim.
